Budapest Hungary Temple

The Budapest Hungary Temple was announced on 7 April 2019 by President Russell M. Nelson as the first temple in the country. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 21 June 2025. An open house and dedication date have not yet been announced. Plans call for a one-story temple of approximately 18, 000 square feet, as well as an arrival center and patron housing.
